HUNTING RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.       Right of admission is reserved and should the hunter/Non-hunter not abide by the rules, admission will be suspended and the hunter/Non-hunter will be requested to leave the farm and the owner reserves all his rights to legal action. 

2.       Indemnity forms will be signed on entering premises.

3.       Any person entering the farm does so at his own risk.

4.       Please be cordial to your hosts and staff, no abuse of any kind will be tolerated.

5.       Hunting to be undertaken from sunrise to sunset only.  Bow hunting last shot to be half an hour before sunset.

6.       No drinking will be permitted immediately prior or during the hunt.

7.       All hunters and professional hunters will be accompanied by a guide from Schulpadfontein at all times.

8.       GAME WOUNDED – the full price for an animal will be charged.  Should an animal be wounded the owner or someone duly authorised by the owner shall have the right to put the animal down.  Guides/Trackers are not responsible for finding wounded animals although reasonable assistance will be afforded.   

9.       The hunting party will be held responsible for any damage and/or loss of any item in the bush camp/houses, to vehicles or elsewhere on the farm, caused maliciously or otherwise.

10.    GRATUITIES – may be given to the Guides, for Tracking and slaughtering of game.

11.    No empty tins, bottles or plastic bags or any other form of garbage maybe left in the hunting area.

12.    No pets will be allowed.

13.    The owner must be informed in writing, prior to the hunter’s/non-hunters departure, of any complaints, compliments, loss or claims.  If not, the owners are not responsible, especially any claim which may have resulted from the hunt.  All parties accompanying the hunter/non-hunter accepts unconditionally the rules as outlined above as well as to the charges as set out in the price lists and exonerates the owners or any of their staff against any claims and/or costs in respect of personal or bodily damage to personal property or personal effects which may have occurred during the stay on the farm.

14.    Please note that all skins and/or trophies must be taken by the hunter when leaving.  The owner accepts NO responsibility for any items left on departure.

15.    Hunted animals will be Skinned and kept in the cold room until the day of departure. 

16.    Should an animal be wounded – the hunt would be stopped and entire hunting party will engage in the search.

17.    No excessive noise is allowed.

18.    Bow Hunting from hides only. (1 pit blind, 3 ground blinds and 2 Tree Stands)

19.    No practicing with bow outside dedicated shooting ranges.
